In the British Museum, Print and Drawings Department, this print by Thomas Neale is present, dated 1650-1659 . It is an etching showing two plants and different animals, among which a snail. The snail is very sketchy and it is shown as a sinistral specimen.
Thomas Neale was an obscure etcher, of whom is only known that he was active in Paris during 1657-1659 . It is not known if this print originated during that time or not; here it is attributed to be of British origin.
